worm.jpgRon Paul has been having a bit of trouble lately. So much in fact, he has had to curb his Presidential bid in order to concentrate his efforts on “Plan B” (and you Rontards can shut up already, I heard him say it) his Congressional seat, which by the way should enthuse anyone whom he is supposed to represent. So as a result, I get to hear his commercials, and there’s a lot of them, every day. Commercials that are full of stale 10 year old data or quotes, obfuscations, and down right lies.

Congressional Quarterly names Ron Paul one the 50 most effective legislators - first this is an 8 year old article that frankly is quite stale, and second the article is not a list of “effective legislators”. That list does not exist.

He is trying to tie himself to the Reagan Revolution by airing a sound byte that is at least 10 years old where Reagan states “We need to keep Ron Paul”. Again stale, this is the same Ronald Reagan that Ron Paul blames for creating the OBL, and Sadam Hussein problem. So Ron Paul expects that he can rail against Ronald Reagan’s foreign policy on one hand, and ride his coat tails on the other.

He claims he is the tax payers best friend, well that’s a stretch coming from the Pork King of Lake Jackson. 400 million in one year for trivial projects that Ron Paul makes the earmarks for, and then votes down knowing his buddies in Congress will pass the measure.

He claims he is tough on defense. Meanwhile, he votes down every defense appropriation, want to cut military spending by 80%, do away with the CIA and the Air Force, and reduce our forces to ballistic submarines. Hmmm, that’s pretty tough allright.

He claims he is pro-family and pro-life, while he votes down measures to prohibit and increase penalties for transporting minors across State lines in order to get around home State abortion regulations.

The truth even eludes Ron Paul when it comes to his challenger. He ignores the fact that his seat is in serious jeopardy, refuses to debate or even have a forum. But, Ron Paul certainly cried foul when Fox did not invite him to the Florida debate.

As usual, Ron Paul says one thing, and does the complete opposite.

Texans have a choice. I invite you to check out Chris Peden’s site at chrispeden.org to get the facts about the 14th district.

overmk1.jpgA blimp, a huge grassroots movement that never materialized, and a large wad of cash was still not enough to get Ron Paul any higher than 4% in the national polls. He managed to garner 4 delegates (3 were given to him by Huckabee). So what now for the Rontards? My bet is on them becoming Hillbilleries, or they will just simply sit this one out.

This latest move only bolsters my previous position that Ron only ran to build up a huge war chest to spend on his contended House Seat. I’ll admit, early on, I was betting on a third party run, especially after he managed to raise all that money. However, once I started hearing his Congressional ad, I came to the realization that Ron’s heart was only into defending his house seat.

sanity.jpgThe great groundswell that has amassed for Ron Paul, the huge grassroots movement is still running at a solid 4%, garnering Ron Paul a whopping 4 delegates. Nice job! you guys aren’t spinning your wheels at all.

I’m sure the rontards will be whining about some vast conspiracy that is preventing their candidate from getting any traction. I expect to here Ron Paul complain that he is being disenfranchised by the Republican Party, and will be going it Indy anytime now.

Time to bring on the fat lady… Ron

Just why is Ron Paul running for President?

pimp.jpgWe have the answer. As the race is slowing grinding to a halt for the nomination, it has become quite apparent why Ron Paul is running for President. Ron Paul knew from the offset that he did not have a snowball’s chance at ever winning the Republican nomination. And it does not appear he is interested in the being on the bottom of the ticket either, none of the front runners would have him anyways. So why run? For the first time in many years, Ron Paul has a serious challenger for his House seat in Chris Peden. The interesting part of the story is that Chris is not a career politician. He is one of many that stepped up from the private sector when run away taxation came to a head two years ago because then city manager stood up in front of the State Building and declared that his Friendswood constituents did not want tax relief, and were quite content with increases in their taxes every year.

Ron Paul used the national forum of running for the Republican nomination in order to raise a ton of cash so he could bombard the Houston-Metro area with his campaign ads filled with lies and distortions about his record. Running a national campaign offered Ron Paul the ability to raise money outside of his district, where it does not matter which account his campaigns get their money from. I have yet to hear a Ron Paul for President ad on our local radio stations. But you can’t turn a radio on for 5 minutes without hearing a Ron Paul for Congress ad.

As for his supporters, you got used, just like he has used his district, his office, and everything else.

worm.jpgThe blog has a new name! Same goal as before, but now that twilight is dawning on Ron Paul’s Presidential bid, we turn our sights to his most prize possession, his House seat.

Since 1979, Ron Paul has held one of the most stagnant seats in the entire House of representatives, giving him the nickname of “Dr. No”. With all the nonsense that goes on in Washington, this could easily be construed as a good thing, but you have to look deeper. Earmarks are funds provided by the Congress for projects or programs where the congressional direction (in bill or report language) circumvents the merit-based or competitive allocation process, or specifies the location or recipient, or otherwise curtails the ability of the Executive Branch to properly manage funds. Ron Paul while maintaining that he is “the Taxpayers best friend”, submits the request for funds, (earmarks) and then votes against them when they come up for a vote. In the end, the measures pass, and Ron Paul get his set asides without having to take the heat for voting for them, In the twenty some-odd years he’s been in office, he has only managed to draft one piece of legislation that he trots out at every new Congress, The Industrial Hemp Act. In a new add, playing in the Houston metro-area, where he is still running for his House seat Ron claims to be strong on Defense, while also advocating the dismantling of the CIA, and the Air Force, because all we need are a few Submarines for defense.

Ron has become the darling of the disaffected, and malcontents. He knowingly takes money from known “white supremecists”, and pimps, and then does not have the integrity to return the money when he is outed. As Texans, we deserve better than Ron Paul.

sanity.jpgNot only that, Ron Paul need to pull out of the race for the Republican nomination!

“[O]ur country is being destroyed by a group of actual and potential terrorists—and they can be identified by the color of their skin.”

“I think we can safely assume that 95% of the black males in that city [Washington, D.C.] are semi-criminal or entirely criminal.”

“We are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, but it is hardly irrational.”

“The riots, burning, looting, and murders are only a continuation of 30 years of racial politics.”

“The criminals who terrorize our cities—in riots and on every non-riot day—are not exclusively young black males, but they largely are. As children, they are trained to hate whites, to believe that white oppression is responsible for all black ills, to “fight the power,” and to steal and loot as much money from the white enemy as possible. Anything is justified against ‘The Man.’ And ‘The Woman.’’”

“My friend waved to the tiny [African-American] child, who scowled, stuck out her tongue, and said (somewhat tautologically): “I hate you, white honkey.” And the parents were indulgent. Is any white child taught to hate in this way?” [As a matter of fact, Paul has appeared on a radio program called “The Political Cesspool,” which has featured the neo-Nazi twin pop stars Prussian Blue. –ed.]

“But this is normal, and in fact benign, compared to much of the anti-white ideology in the thoroughly racist black community. The black leadership indoctrinates its followers with phony history and phony theory to bolster its claims of victimology.”

“Korean-Americans, hated by blacks, never riot, and in fact are some of the most productive people in America (the reason for black hatred).”

“The cause of the riots is plain: barbarism. If the barbarians cannot loot sufficiently through legal channels (i.e., the riots being the welfare-state minus the middleman), they resort to illegal ones, to terrorism.”

“We must not kowtow to the street hoodlums and their sanctimonious leaders.”

“Regardless of what the media tell us, most white Americans are not going to believe that they are at fault for what blacks have done to cities across America. The professional blacks may have cowed the elites, but good sense survives at the grass roots.”

“Indeed, it is shocking to consider the uniformity of opinion among blacks in this country.”

“Blacks have ‘civil rights,’ preferences, set-asides for government contracts, gerrymandered voting districts, black bureaucracies, black mayors, black curricula in schools, black beauty contests, black TV shows, black TV anchors, black scholarships and colleges, hate crime laws, and public humiliation for anyone who dares question the black agenda.”

“Black males age 13 that have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary, and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such.”

“We now know that we are under assault from thugs and revolutionaries who hate Euro-American civilization and everything it stands for: private property, material success for those who earn it, and Christian morality.”

“In San Francisco and perhaps other cities, says expert Burt Blumert, the rioting was led by red-flag carrying members of the Revolutionary Communist Party and the Workers World Party, both Trotskyite-Maoist.”

“Many people tried to buy guns to protect themselves. But, whoops, California has a 14-day waiting period. And then, just to make sure honest Californians could not get ammunition for the firearms they already owned (poor ragefilled youth might be shot), Mayor Tom Bradley ordered all gun and ammo shops closed, a great help to criminals who had stocked up earlier, or who could simply break in and loot.”

“Several days after the violence ended, we learned that there would have been blacks on the King jury—if the NAACP hadn’t engaged in jury tampering by telling potential black jurors that it was their racial duty to convict the cops. The blacks admitted this to defense lawyers, and were rightly excluded from jury. This is a serious crime, but the NAACP will not be prosecuted.”

“Two years ago, in a series of predictions for the 1990s, I said that race riots would erupt in our large cities. I’m now predicting this will be the major problem of the 1990s.” [Helter Skelter, anybody?—ed.]

Source: The Ron Paul Report, “Los Angeles Racial Terrorism”

“Last month I reported on massive, illegal spying by the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai Brith against its perceived opponents, as revealed in California. The ADL keeps track of people and groups from left to right, and purchases illegally obtained information on Americans from its agents in police departments in order to prepare and maintain hundreds of thousands of dossiers.”

“The [Los Angeles] Times also brought to light the ADL’s work against ‘cults,’ especially interesting given the BATF [Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms]-ADL connection.”

“It was such a seminar [i.e. a cult awareness training seminar], arranged by the ADL, that targeted the Branch Davidians in the first place.”

“The intensity with which Israel lobbies in the U.S. Congress is surpassed only by its media campaigns to drown all criticism of Israel. Prominent U.S. Editors and media owners don’t even pretend to objectivity on the issue. They all follow the advice of Norman Podhoretz, editor of the influential neo-conservative magazine Commentary….” [Our emphasis –ed.]

“This bias [Martin Peretz’s] informs every opinion expressed in The New Republic. For example, it opposed Contra aid until the Sandinista government showed sympathy for the PLO.”

“If this walking bomb had gone off, it would have demolished the House Chamber and most of the congressmen in it. Yet this attempted terrorist attack was buried by the media. Why? Because the perpetrator was an undoubtedly mad Israeli, furious over alleged slights to his country… [T]he Israeli lobby deep-sixed the story, and no one outside of Congress ever head about it.”

“The Earth Summit is the creepiest meeting of politicos since the first gathering of Bolsheviks. Officially known as the UN Conference for Environment and Development, it will be held in Brazil in June; bad guys from all over the globe will attend.”

“[Hillary Clinton] is one of the most dangerous women in public life. Not only is she a fanatical abortion advocate, she wants parents to register with the government as a condition for having children to be able to sue and `divorce’ themselves from their parents. Maybe her daughter ought to sue her parents for attempting to raise her as a leftist. That sure qualifies as abuse to me.”

“Disgruntled taxpayer Dean Hicks fired bombs through mortars at night at buildings of the Internal Revenue Service in California. Hicks did damage federal property, but no individuals were injured… Hicks was sentenced to 20 years in prison, given a $45,000 fine, and ordered to pay $335,000 in restitution to the IRS. If he had been a serial murderer, he would not have gotten this sort of sentence.”

“There is good news after the L.A. riots. Statewide, gun sales are up 45% over the same period last year. People have been purchasing a record number. If the cops are not going to take care of the problem, the people will.”

Babies love Ron Paul, because they share the same level of social awareness.

And of course:

How to identify a Ron Paul supporter

  • Is on the internet 25 hours a day.
  • Lives in Montana, Wyoming, Texas, New Hampshire, or outside of the USA, where they can be found in the basement of their parent’s house.
  • Always bitching about having to pay taxes, even while commuting to work on roads or public transit.
  • Has at least 100 sockpuppet accounts on Youtube.
  • Cant get through reviewing the toaster he bought on amazon.com without mentioning VOTE RON PAUL 2008 over 9000 times.
  • Will always refer to Ron Paul as “Dr. Ron Paul” (as if holding a medical degree somehow qualifies you to be the leader of the free world).
  • Is obese
  • Is a virgin who couldn’t get laid in Bangkok.
  • Hates Leftards
  • Enjoys slapping Ron Paul bumperstickers all over random vertical surfaces
  • Lives in Europe, having no voting rights in the United States whatsoever.
  • Claims to have read the constitution but actually hasn’t.
  • Becomes emotionally distressed when someone says something remotely bad about “Dr. Paul”, resulting in incoherent shrieking about Neocons, the NWO, and the Federal Reserve.
  • Posts “9/11 was an inside job! VOTE RON PAUL!!11″ at least 25 times on random Youtube video comment areas that have nothing to do with politics.
  • Spouts conspiracy theories about the mainstream media fixing polls because they’re “afraid of a Ron Paul presidency”.
  • Spouts conspiracy theories about just about everything.
  • Will accuse any detractor of hating the Constitution and hating liberty. This isn’t at all similar to how neocons label detractors as freedom-haters who hate America.
  • Listens to the Hal Turner Show.
  • Is actually a Ukranian spambot.

And the crack about we shouldn’t have had a civil war… to get rid of slavery… which history books have you been reading Ron? I would have though you would understand this, seeing as you wrap yourself up in States rights at every turn. My Ron I’m surprised at you…

Not that we enjoy beating a dead horse, but here it is again braying about the war, and how our troops are failures, etc. etc… Funny, even CNN is getting it, (for those of you in Lake Jackson, I’m referring to the troop surge that has decreased the number of military and civilians killed, and a reduction in the numbers of IED’s in Iraq for the last three months). Albeit, the surge was too long in coming… but here’s the clip:

On an editorial note: if he wouldn’t keep sticking his hoof in his mouth, we wouldn’t have to keep bringing him up. But at this point, he is so tied to the hippie, peacenik, noninterventionalist, isoslationist, far left fringe Kucinich wing of the Democratic party, that if he were to admit the surge is having some positive effect, a majority of what little support he has would evaporate.h/t The Right Stuff
